In China, BAOWI STEEL is the first to possess the core technology of UOE and JCOE straight seam double-sided submerged arc welded steel pipe production, the earliest to develop new straight seam double-sided submerged arc welded pipe products, and the earliest to be used in oil and gas pipeline construction projects. In the welded pipe industry, Zhujiang Steel Pipe has a complete production process for straight seam welded pipes, a complete product structure, and its equipment and process technology are at the forefront of the industry. The company is currently recognized as a "National High-tech Enterprise".

The measurement room is a national second-level measurement unit, equipped with testing equipment such as material testing machines, low-temperature impact material testing machines, 30,000-joule drop weight tearing testing machines, computer-controlled chemical composition vacuum direct-reading spectrometers, and metallographic microscopes.
