The project, implemented by our client Vietnam Mining Company, aims to facilitate the transfer of mineral resources from the mining area to processing facilities in Hanoi. The project requires the installation of 24-inch and 48-inch ore transportation pipelines, and after the completion of the first phase, the ore transportation capacity will reach 150,000 tons per day. When the second and third phases are put into production, the transportation capacity of the project will increase to 450,000 tons per day and 600,000 tons per day, respectively.
The 400-kilometer ore transportation pipeline connects the mining area to Vietnam's 300,000 tons/day Hanoi processing plant and 150,000 tons/day Ho Chi Minh City processing plant.
The scope of work for the project includes engineering design, procurement and installation of:
Marine piping, pipe cleaners, sludge traps and high-pressure separators
Configuration using well casing, pipes, valves and other related components used in mines
Mine process improvements
Sewer, utility and off-site drainage systems
Improvements to electrical and instrumentation systems and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
Seawater inlets and outlets, wastewater treatment
Seawater desalination, water refining
Installation of some piping on-site at the pump station
The project uses seamless steel pipes to ensure transportation reliability and efficiency.
