The  petrochemical project uses seamless steel pipes. The project has extremely high requirements on materials, requiring excellent corrosion resistance and stability under high temperature and high pressure. Our seamless steel pipes meet these stringent conditions.

Length and construction process of seamless steel pipes

In this project, the length of seamless steel pipes we provided ranged from 6 meters to 12 meters, and the specific length was customized according to the needs of different construction sections. These steel pipes were transported to the construction site after undergoing strict quality inspection in the factory.

The construction process is as follows:

Transportation and storage: The steel pipes are transported to the construction site by sea. After arriving at the site, they are stacked and stored in an orderly manner according to the pre-planned storage area to ensure that the steel pipes are not affected by the environment.

Inspection and preparation: Before installation, each steel pipe will be inspected again to ensure that there is no damage caused during transportation. At the same time, the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe are cleaned to ensure the quality of welding.

Cutting and welding: The steel pipes are cut on site according to actual needs. After cutting, high-precision welding equipment is used for welding. The welds are required to be uniform and free of pores to ensure the sealing and strength of the pipeline.

Installation and fixing: After welding, the steel pipes are installed in the predetermined position and fixed. The whole process requires precise alignment and calibration to ensure the straightness of the pipeline and the stability of the system.

Pressure test: After installation, the pipeline is pressure tested to detect its performance under high temperature and high pressure. The pipeline can only be put into use after the test is qualified.
