1. What is lsaw steel pipe pile?

LSAW steel piles pipe are manufactured from steel plates and can me manufactured in thicknesses of up to 4 inches (100mm). LSAW pipe piles are used for steel pipe piling and used extensively in the waterfront/marine sector. They can also be fabricated for use with clutches, shear rings, and other fabricated components. Other applications for LSAW steel pile pipe  include as king piles in conjunction with sheet piles to form a combination wall.

 

2.What are piling pipes?

piling pipes are permanent materials for load-bearing steel pipes. They are called the main material in engineering. The quality, anti-corrosion and welding requirements for the steel pipe materials are very high. The length of steel pipe piles is generally between 50-70 meters. No cement is poured inside, and the steel pipe directly bears the force, requiring a long service life. The length of a single steel pipe pile depends on the conditions of the piling machine and the geological conditions of the construction site.

3.What is lsaw pipe?

LSAW pipe is a type of steel tube, which is made by straight seam submerged arc welding process. Longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes usually consist of black and galvanized steel pipes with two different surface treatments. Its wall thickness, diameter and length can be customized as required. Using a single medium-thick plate (stainless steel medium-thick plate) as the processing raw material, the stainless steel plate is first pressed (rolled) into a tube blank in a mold or forming machine, and is produced by double-sided submerged arc welding and diameter expansion.


4.Application scope of LSAW steel pipe piles

In daily construction sites, we often see LSAW steel pipe piles. Steel pipe piles are also widely used in automobiles, shipbuilding, mining machinery, etc. due to their simple structure, easy use, good sealing and other characteristics. Steel pipe piles are in stock from manufacturers. Because steel pipe piles are large in size and have various shapes, they have various interfaces such as round, square, and rectangular.

Steel pipe piles are also widely used in the construction of steel temporary bridges. They are generally used as the lower support of steel temporary bridges and are the basis for the construction of steel temporary bridges. Moreover, LSAW steel pipe piles are reliable, which is more and more common in speeding up the progress of bridge construction and improving economic benefits, especially for the construction platforms of underwater piers, large-span bridges and high-pier bridges. Steel pipe piles are used as column and beam supports in bridge construction.

5.Precautions for LSAW steel pipe pile construction

Error control. Since the steel pipe pile is constructed close to the foundation pit and is located on the side of the mixing pile close to the foundation pit, the verticality must be strictly controlled when drilling, and attention should be paid to the selection of appropriate drilling rigs and drilling processes. The verticality adopts the method of measuring the drill rod angle with a compass, and the error is controlled within 2 degrees.

Residue cleaning. During drilling, mud circulation is used to protect the hole, and the mud flowing out of the hole is continuously removed from the residue. Generally, the drilling depth is not less than the pile length plus 0.5m, so that the sediment can settle in the hole. After the drilling is completed, the hole needs to be repeatedly cleaned with mud circulation to remove the rock debris and other residues in the hole as much as possible.

LSAW steel pipe pile position. When inserting the steel pipe pile, it is necessary to prevent the steel pipe pile from being bent, twisted and deformed, and the installed steel pipe pile is located in the center of the hole.

LSAW steel pipe pile cleaning. After the LSAW steel pipe pile construction is completed, the hole needs to be cleaned again. Use a water pump to inject a large amount of clean water into the hole to replace the mud in the hole until clean water flows out of the hole.

LSAW steel pipe pile grouting. High-pressure grouting is performed in the hole, and an appropriate amount of early strength agent can be added. The water-cement ratio of the grouting cement slurry is controlled at 0.4-0.45, and the grouting pressure is about 0.5-1.OMpa. The grouting pressure and grouting amount must be controlled, and attention must be paid to blocking the dead hole to ensure quality. The hole can be blocked with a grouting bag.
